Met ANPR PCN - (841) Great Cambridge Road Retail Park Enfield

Hi,

 

I received a PCN from MET for overstaying at a carpark.

90 minutes Free stay period.

Actual period of stay 110+ minutes.

 

It was a genuine mistake on my behalf I was catching up with a few friends and lost track of time.

We were at one of the restaurants at the car park.

 

Do I have a leg to stand on if I appeal?

For either option, does it say which appeals body they operate under.

 

There are two official bodies, the BPA and the IAS. If you are unsure,

please check HERE - I'm not 100% sure but they have a complaints section and they mention BPA.

go to the relevant council webportal and find the planning section.

 

I very much doubt the original parking time was limited to 90mins when planning was 1st granted

more like 3hrs I bet

 

no-one can change that.

i've spent the last 30mins trying to find any information about this but I cannot find anything.

yes, I found the plot but I can't find anything that states about the original parking period.

so how can anyone dictate a parking time limit.?

Can you see any planning consent for MET to put its signs and cameras up?

No?

then they are breaking the law and cant create a contract with you in the first place.

 

Now I would contact the head office of the restaurant chain and tell them that you had a lovely time at their place but will didnt agree to pay ayone £100 extra so could they intervene or you will be doing a recharge on the card payment for the bill if they dont tell MET to drop their demand.

 

Ask nicely at first but dont take no as an answer.

Also flame them on social media if they are unhelpful
