OPS, Gladstone, County Court - Small Claims & N180 form

Recommended Posts

Apologies for the urgency on this one but I have never been at this stage before.
I was contacted out of the blue by Northampton Courts just before Christmas in regards to THREE SEPARATE PCNs i had no clue about. No tickets, no NTK, no Letter Before Claim, nothing!

This is a 'One Parking Solutions Ltd' and Gladstones claim.
I entered my appeal defence on the official Gov website and hoped that would be it but now I have received a 'Notice of proposed allocation to small claims' letter attached to a 'Directions Questionnaire (Small Claims Track)' document. - Form N180

On the letter it says:
IMPORTANT NOTICE - If you do not comply with this notice the court will make such order as appears to be appropriate. This could include striking out the claim or entering judgement.
1 - This is now a defended claim.
The defendant has filed a defence
A copy of which is enclosed - (THIS PART HAS BEEN CROSSED OUT BY HAND)
2 - It appears that this case is suitable for allocation to the small claims track
If you believe that this track is not the appropriate for the claim, you must complete box C1
on the N180 form and explain why
3 - You must by 27th January 2020 complete the N180 form and file it with the court office and
serve copies on all other parties

I am lost as to what I do from here and why they are still pursuing, can anyone offer any ideas please?

Thank you, much appreciated.

full story please, places dates times etc.

You should have had a LBA setting out what their claim was so naything you have regarding paperwork, memory of previousl letters now binned etc will be wanted.

Also have you recently bought or sold the car that is the object of their actions or moved house since the issue of the original letters?
