DCA's view debtors as suckers, marks and mugs

NO DCA has ANY legal powers whatsoever on ANY debt no matter what it's Type

and they

are NOT and can NEVER  be BAILIFFS. even if a debt has been to court..

If everyone stopped blindly paying DCA's Tomorrow, their industry would collapse overnight...

To pay off what?

if you only had a savings account you were protecting nothing of theirs..so i find it really strange they advised you to have this

ok they'd get a backhander for sure, but my thoughts are this wasnt woolwich but someone phoned you claiming to be them.

I think you just need to say that you've cancelled the direct debit as you no longer need this cover. Or you can wait until they write to you, as they probably will when the premium isn't paid, and reply then.

If you write now, it doesn't need to be complicated, just express yourself the way that you do here.

ETA As I understand it, your cover is with the Lloyd's syndicate now so I would write to them.
