Please can you answer a quick question for me - i've spent half an hour navigating my way around and am utterly lost!

When writing to your bank initially to ask for copies of bank statements/details of charges do you send it to the address on your bank statement or is there a preferable address to send to?

I am claiming back from Lloyds and Natwest.

Many thanks.

Welcome to the forum:)

Firstly, before you send any letters to any banks, spend alot more time reading up on the process. Click my link below to access the FAQs.

Generally it is better to send DPA letters to the head office of each bank by recorded/special delivery.

Or take letters into your branch to be signed as received, then they will be forwarded internally to the appropriate department.

Once you are ready, start two threads, one in Natwest forum, the other in the Lloyds forum and keep us posted with your progress.

Good luck
