EPS windscreen PCN - no permit - now letter of claim - Fairgate house, birmingham

Hello,

I have received a letter from Euro parking service back in July.

 

I parked my car at the office without displaying a permit, however, the building have everyone's car reg number.

 

I appealed the invoice earlier this month,

they have rejected my appeal and thread that if I don't pay within 7 days, they will taken me to court.

 

I have read so many posts but no one has a similar scenario as myself.

 

Would anyone be able to help?

They invoice me £160.

Well the date is 17/07/2019,

It was a yellow pocket invoice stick on my windscreen,

and then I received a letter claim the money I need to pay.

 

I then ignored all the letters until I received the letter before court action.

 

I submit my appeal.

4 If you appealed after receiving the NTK,

did the parking company give you any information regarding the further appeals process?

I couldn't find the first letter. I remember it is not long after I got the invoice on the car. I will say no later than a month.

before you say anything to them please give us a bit more information.

they refer to their client's instructiosn, who is their client? ie who owns the car park? If it is YOUR employer why dont you ask them to sort this mess out and stop the parking co from harassing you.

 

If your employer rents some of the car park from the landowner and these people work for that landowner then they have overstepped their remit as any instruction they have doesnt include the spaces your company rents. If permits are given out by the office rental co then hiow does that work? Generally these buildings are managed by a separate company with nothing to do withy the owners and they emply the parking bandits and that means there is no direct link to the owners to create any authority to bill you for anything.

 

Waht do the signs at the entrance to the land say and what other signs are there about theplace that have different wording on them? We need to see inmages of everything that is different and that includes bay markings etc

 

Appealing this after so long was not a good move, dont be tempted to do that again if you get another ticket. KEEP all paperwork and dig out what you have still got and tell us what it is, when it was sent and who from.

Sorry I didn't make my story clearer. 

 

I work in the company located in the building who owns the car park.

However I think they give the car park to euro parking service to manage. 

 

I have got two colleagues who has got the tickets as well but ignored them as well.

 

I didn't think it matters because it is not a fine.

 

But after receiving the letter before court action makes me worry

If your employer rents the spaces you go to them and ask them to tell the parking co to stop this nonsense because if it comes to a court case they will get dragged into the mess when you sue for breach of the GDPR

Do you mean my detail was given by the reception?

 

Doesn't the euro parking service have access to DVLA for my detail?

unlikely so read what we say very carefully and answwer the questiosn we ask rather than giving an answer that requires more questions

If you rent an office does it come with an allocated parking spot or just a permit to park anywhere?

I work for a company A, company A rent an office in the building (fairgate house). It comes with a permit to park anywhere in the secure car park.

so who issues the permits, the office rental co, the parking co or somehone else?

 

We are trying ti help you but you must be more proactive and offer us some information withoput us having to drag it out.

Please put a bit of thought into this as it will speed things up

The permit was given by the reception in the building, so issued by the office rental company, however they said the car park is managing by the Euro service.

 

On the entrance to  the car park, I think the post says the car park is managing by the Euro service car park, I will take a picture of the post if it is necessary. 

 

The Permit only shows the the Company name.

 

The first day when I have got the permit, I didn't know I need to peel it off (to show the company I work for) and stick on the car.

 

I went to the reception after I got the ticket, they say they will sort it out for me.

And then I haven't heard anything after that.

 

However, when I got the second ticket, they refuse to help me.
