Last 12 months gave been horrendous. Almost lost my husband John last march so 2019 was very difficult. I also am responsible for my mum who gas alzheimers. She is in local nursing hone and I usually visit each week. I gave not seen her since Janyary and I am very stressed about that. We already gave nacmillan help. We are arranging for a full benefits review, john already receives PIP.
Thanks I would have thought there was some recourse as we have never had our case in front of a judge. The lender also knew they were sending correspondence to wrong address. Additionally the bailiff refused our neighbour to take a photo of the warrant so we could see it. My husband was on his own at the time and unable to speak on phone. The lenders were aware of our disabilities and bailiffs should have been briefed? I am sure this makes their actions invalid and also against Equality Act 2010
Dx spot on as per usual.

and as Dx says, adapt according to your own situation after doing your research.
Contact Copart head office and make a formal compaint as a matter of urgency. See if they will suspend the sale, while you wait to resolve this with Hastings. If you get the head office compaints email address, send a copy of the Hastings letter.
Any contractural agreement you made regarding selling the car to Copart, may be void, if you can prove that you were given false information.
Ask Copart, whether they have repaired the car since buying from you ?
