I sent off an email beginning of the year to studio about the ppi on my account.  I had a email back from them in June saying the following. 


We write following recent communications regarding your complaint under the above reference number.

We are unfortunately, not in a position to be able to provide you with an outcome to our investigations therefore, we ask that you provide us with an additional period of time to reach a decision and issue our final response on the matter.

Should you not wish to await the outcome to our investigation we are obliged to inform you that, you now have the right to refer your complaint to the Financial Ombudsman Service and you will need to do so within 6 months of the date of this email.

As time is moving on and I've heard nothing else from them, do I need to contact the fos now or wait?

did you send them an sar to get all the details so if you do have PPI, you'll know any refund is even correct?
