you got the bills post aug 

why didn't you question why they were still charging you a monthly tariff?

did you sign up with anyone else?

how were you using a mobile from aug 2015?

oh sorry dx 

vodaphone renewed the contract with me by phone for another 24 months

but as time went on i was late with the last payment on 7 june 2017 £140 as the service was suspended 

when i paid it they refused to reconnect service unless i paid an xtra month in advance. i refused to pay so went with another provider

and file an SB defence when you had used the phone within the last 6yrs

 

the balance is nothing to do with months till end of contract then

you owe the money...

but what is there to owe for a service that has been terminated . so i have pay the remaining months of this contract to lowell 

 

hold on i am  trying to remember if i did renew this  contract by phone or it rolled over monthly but that really doesn't matter does it  

 

Dx I did not make £900

worth of calls or data with these 

Vodaphone people I paid up to date each month up till aug 2017 

 

no other calls or data was used after 

this as they had suspended Me for not paying month in advance 

 

these monthly payments came after I stopped using the phone, I made no call no data usage ,no text just monthly tariff contract payments totalling £900 after aug 2017   
 I did not run up £900 worth calls or data to anyone 

 

now what I am saying is the contract was broken early but why should I have to pay an early termination charge for phone no longer use after aug 2017

 

these are early termination charges which I feel is unfair to pay 

 

this is what i am saying 

 

also for last 2.1/2years i am now with 3 network

look at the last bill

the service was terminated by VF because you owed them some +£900

nothing has been added post termination date.

 

now what I was going to do before you said yes I was using the phone and had no proof of a contract elsewhere was rollback the bill month on month taking off the monthly contract charge, that should leave only usage.

 

but as you'd already said you did'nt use the phone ..that was pointless.

the bal from aug 15 must be solely the monthly increment of the contract charge...

 

but seeing as you've said, I phoned VF and they wouldn't give me another 2 years, in my mind, that must be because you suddenly found you couldn't use it.

Seems to me that you need to ask VF exactly what was left outstanding when you stopped using their services.  Ask VF for a complete breakdown. 

 

At the moment, the position is too confusing to make any argument or to enable you to negotiate any amount owed.

you didn't pay anything for the whole of 2016.

roughly your monthly rental was about £70 ...12x70= that's £840 alone. regardless of calls/data

 

there is also the fact that you must had been using excessive data too as atleast 2 bills state extra £16 pcm

the bill is made of your missed contractual monthly contract cost from dec 15 to dec 16

you missed a complete year of payment.

 

your missed monthly contract cost was approx. £70PCM x that by 12 that makes £840...

your monthly tariff was £68.50 from when you took out the 2nd 2yrs contract from aug 2015

you were already a heavy user of data before that.
