just an update, have a letter now from dcbl asking for £170 and i can no longer argue my point..

What do you mean by you can no longer argue your point?

 

They've sent you an LBA, you've told them where to get off, yet they are still not taking you to court.  Seems to me you're in a good position.

Threatogram, they may well have noted any acidic reply but want to have another pop as they aren't sure whether they would win in court,

latest update, DCBL, final notice of debt recovery letter.. they recommend to there client to start legal action..  when will it all stop..lol

Court action is always imminent but then never seems to happen - almost as if they know their case is pants
