I have returned to the UK after 10 years abroad and am not sure what, if anything I can do to help my situation.

Tesco Bank credit card, owe around 2200 GBP and default happened in March 2015 per Equifax, so March 2021 it will drop off.

I am having trouble finding work due to this account and need to know the best way to move forward.

1. Pay it off in full, don't really have the money to do this but I can borrow from family to make this happen

2. Tesco have accepted a 50 GBP a month temporary arrangement for 2 months until I am working and can submit an income/expense sheet.

3. Submit a full and final offer for somewhere between 30% and 70%.

Many thanks for any and all comments.

DCA's view debtors as suckers, marks and mugs

NO DCA has ANY legal powers whatsoever on ANY debt no matter what it's Type

and they

are NOT and can NEVER  be BAILIFFS. even if a debt has been to court..

If everyone stopped blindly paying DCA's Tomorrow, their industry would collapse overnight...

IMO, based on my past experience and all the other posts on here, it's best just to ignore. Until when or if such a point a PAP letter comes through. Which might be never.  It will be Statute Barred in less than 2 yrs.

In fact nobody has the right to request an I & E from you apart from HMRC, Council Tax or a Court. So just don't go there.

or was this card attained before you left 10yrs ago and you morally paid all the time you were not resident in the uk?

when did you get the card?
