ok i promise this will be the last question tonight, can any way recomend which spread sheet to use, i need to claim back charges for DD's not going out and then charges + the interest for going over overdrawn, they have listed the interest seperatly:p

statements requested 23rd Nov charged £5

statements arrived 28th Nov

sent first letter claiming £1264 on 7th Dec to halifax

halifax replied standard letter 13th Dec

second letter sent 22nd Dec :p

Halifax sent letter 22nd Dec offering £1087 full & final only £177 short of the full amount:eek:

Accepted the offer on 28th Dec on to the next one.......

there is a link on this site as i came across it but will look for you and sent you another link. I uses excel to put all my charges together doing mcol tomorrow for all of mine. Only had one reply and thats from halifax on joint account. shame going to get dirty now

If you are just a victim of the usual stuff, bounced DDs etc use the simple one

 

Remember although they calculate interest you basically forget about it until AFTER you have done your MCOL!

Only print out the first three columns for now.

Thanks for that it makes it much more simple, going to get cracking on that tonight added all the charges up since june 03 and it comes to a wacking £1300 i couldnt believe and then the cheeky sods slaped another charge on yesterday because the Halifax insurance tried to take their payment a day early, i called and the guy said "as a good will gesture they would take it off "if only they knew he he:p
