Why Guarantor for a loan?

Recommended Posts

Hi All

Why would bank ask for Gurantor on going for a loan, when one would have pledged the land or building documents in original? Generally, the asset worth would be more than the loan amount. Please share your thoughts.

Thanks

Hello and welcome to CAG.

I think you need to tell us more about what's happened please, it's difficult to advise on the information you've given so far.

Because  they dont feel the security you offered by way of the land or buildings is sufficient....for whatever reasons...hence you need to expand on your question.
