Hi All

I need a little piece of advise that is upto date , I live in scotland and have received a parking charge for over staying the time allowed.

It was a B&M carpark and I was caught on camera.

So far I have ignored all letters and I have not made contact to any of the letter senders.

My last letter is from Gladstones Solicitors stating that they have been instructed by G24 LTD to recover the £150 that is owed to them.

What should my next course of action be?

thank you

and they

are NOT and can NEVER  be BAILIFFS. even if a debt has been to court..

If everyone stopped blindly paying DCA's Tomorrow, their industry would collapse overnight...

post up the Gladdys letter with all personal detaisl and reference numbers redacted.

It wont be a lba judging by your precis but it will be interesting to see what they say because they may be dropping their client in the merde and that may be worth noting for later

That letter isn't even from Gladstones though. They have a cosy arrangement with DRP who use their letterheads - makes them look a bit more official and sometimes frightens people into paying. Just bung it in a folder with the other paperwork from them and keep it all safe in case they ever decide to try their luck.

now DR+ arent the client and arent registered with the FCA as a licenced deposit tajer to why Gladdys allow their letterhead to eb used in this sort of caper is beyond me.

CEL used to get a retired solicitor to allow them to use his name when filing court docs to bump up their bill but the courts adn the SRA got wise to that and they got al of their claims dismissed for protocol reasons and he got booted off the SRA roll of solicitors.

Now Gladdys wont be daft enough to say DR+ are their clients when it comes to a court claim but they do like to spread the money about to keep all of the less than honest parties sweet
