Its the 'nuclear' option of Johnson calling a general election thats undoubtedly holding many in check at the moment, although I think they are beginning to realise that they are going to need a fair bit of time to undo Johnsons, 'excesses, and that doing so will actually lose them some supporters to gain a chance of being elected. - That many of the current ministers wouldn't continue to be ministers even under a ruling but changed Tory leadership with all their attendant multiple fabulously paid 'advisory roles' in the private sector at risk - holds others back. As things are, I think labour will be the largest party, regaining about 80+ seats, with the Tories losing that many plus perhaps another 25-40 to the libs. it should be far more than that. but i don't underestimate the stupidity/lazyness of a significant portion of the UK electorate.

The Pensions Regulator can get things done, although it may take time to sort this. Broadly, I would expect a company buying your current employer to take over pension commitments. Mergers and acquisitions are complicated though and I don't know a huge amount about corporate pensions. Has TUPE been mentioned to staff, are you being transferred under that? HB -
The officers on the ground might have been sorely tempted, but there seems to be amble evidence that the senior officers at the met are in Johnsons (via his supporters promoters) pockets .. ... unlikely to be the other way around although those 'seniors' are undoubtedly 'in the same club' as it were.

the IVA company was Payplan? im pretty sure those two debts were part of the IVA. yes they were asking that i pay off the shortfall, which was about 450. i recall they were trying to get me to pay it all in one payment.. which of course there was no way i could do. i was working only part time and looking after my mother, which i still do. digressing slightly.. the Vanquis credit card had an original limit of 500 which they increased pretty quickly over time to 2500 without ever asking me if i wanted it. also the last balance on the Vanquis credit card was 2100 or thereabouts.. i dont know where the figure of 3300 has come from..

Looks like a decent set of belt and braces to put them on the back foot if they do try shenanigans.
