Hi all,

I've issued a claim at a County Court on a protective basis and have all the court forms.

Please could someone kindly confirm which forms I need to serve on the Defendant, apart from a copy of the sealed claim form and the particulars of claim?

I take it I also need to send the same forms to the Court, apart from a further copy of the claim form?

Also, the address for service on the claim form is not the instructed solicitors’ address, but the address of the Defendant. Will this cause a problem when if I service the court documents on the Defendant's solicitors (once they have confirmed they will accept service of course)?

Sincere thanks.

You can inform the Court that you will service the court documents, which gives you an extra 4 months.
