Good afternoon,

I owe pay-pal £4800 on pay-pal credit, this builder up over last few years, at the moment I'm being treated for severe depression and I'm attending the therapy.

I spoke to my friend abroad and he offered some money towards my debts so I can return to my country and undergo the therapy in closed facility (I've been in this facility in past for 2 years), as per advice from nationaldebthelpline I've sent the letters to all my creditors, I offered them the fair share of the money that my friend offered.

To my surprise all the other creditors (apart from PayPal) told me that due to my mental health state they don't want any money from me and they will write the debt off,

I keep on sending letters, emails etc.etc.etc to paypal but they don't respond at all,

instead I'm receiving a lot of emails about being late with the payments etc.,etc.etc, in response to my emails I received generic email how to pay .

.. no other comms whatsoever.

What I can do to get some sort of response from them?

Will they take me to court?

Can they peruse the debt abroad (within EU)?

Please help!!!

Thank you so much for the reply!

I feel guilty for the debts and I tried speaking to them and to repay at least what I can...but on the contrary to other companies they are not showing any empathy and asked me for almost full balance (that I cannot afford to pay).

Once again many thanks!

Thank you:)

Due to the issues that I mentioned earlier...it took a lot of courage to start dealing with everything...but it feels much better already!

Good morning,

They just replied with the demand for more money (that I cannot afford to repay), shall I reply to them at all?

Regards.

If you are leaving this country  what do you think they can do to you then? telling them on the day that you have left and now reside in a mental health clinic in xxxxxx please send any correspondnce to you there and then block your phone/email addresses and they will soon understand that it is now their problem not yours.

tyou will be taking control and there is nothing they can do other than what you want to
