Hi Everyone.

I'm looking for advise, I'm at the point of sending my 'Preliminary approach for repayment' letter but i'm not sure wether on the section what i require should the interest at this stage be the 8.00% as used on Vampiress's Spread sheet? or should I not show any interest at this stage. Also is the phrase 'Charges As Notified' acceptable wording for 'Charge Reason' on my spreadsheet? the spreadsheet was a basic one showing charge amount, charge date & interest.

thanks

You don't use the 8% interest until you reach the stage of filing your claim through the courts.

You really should be a little more specific for the charge descriptions, i.e. overlimit fee, or unpaid direct debit etc.

i'm about ready to send my preliminary letter but need to included a schedule, what should that look like?

Ok if you are asking this question do you think you are really ready? Maybe a bit more reading may be in order ;)

The schedule of charges is in the Library Vamps has made excellent spreadsheets the Schedule is self explanitory.

Thanks for the reply, I thought that was the next stage only they all seem to show the 8% interest which i thought i was'nt meant to show at this stage (I've not had much experiance with spread sheets)

Ok they all show 8% because of the formula on the sheet. It is easier to omit the 8% hope this makes sense. complete the spreadsheet with just your charges on forget the interest until the Court stage. All you are doing is showing them th echarges you dispute. Please start a thread in your banks forum.

Boat, you need to set up a thread in the halifax section of the forum. you'll also find an 'address' sticky at the top of the halifax section. Read through some of the threads also, knowledge is power!!!

And so you should be - just keep reading the advice here and come back and ask any questions that you cannot find the answers too.

iGroup (GE Money) - AoS Filed late, defence late, amended defence also late despite extra time requested and granted.

Vanquis - Claim issued, no AoS or Defence received
