More sort of a quick question - if I ask for a bill how long should it take to get it

 

I was due a bill 20th June, emailed them 24th as hadnt had it and basically got an email saying computer issues please wait

 

Start of July got an email saying there had been issues with their customers on E7 meters and they had inverted the night and day readings but they wouldn't be back billing this past 1st April when they realised the error - and that bill should be through shortly

 

Sent them an email querying as I have solar panels during the day and charge an electric car at night - asked to ensure I wouldn't be out of pocket... No answer

 

Asked for a bill again as well

 

Now it wouldn't usually be an issue but I usually overpay by a fair amount in order to get bits out at various points for the year (holidays, Christmas etc) 

 

They get the meter readings from the smart meter so their not an issue, and by my estimate (took last year's bill and added a third for the extra month) the bill should be approx £450 - at 1st Aug however the account will be over £900 in credit so even minus that bill I'd like a little out as we go away in August - something I can't take out however until I get that bill through 

 

OK so after that ramble is there a time limit until I get my bill?

Just rang them...

 

They won't refund until a bills been issued, they can't send bill as since the last error they have been entering two lots of meter readings... 

 

Lady on the other end is entering it as a complaint to try and speed it up
