RLP - expecting letters - Primark,

Hello everybody!

I got caught steeling yesterday at Primark, the security took my details:  ID,  mobile number, email address, address, payslip...  they didn't call the police but they said they will report me to RLP, who will ask me to pay a certain amount.

 

I asked them if I could check how much was the value of the goods but they didn't let me. I think is was more than 50£ but not too sure. They didn't hold me too much but obviously I am feeling very ashamed of what I did.

 

I read many comments saying to ignore the letters I am gonna receive by post from RLP. Should I do the same?

 

What should I do? I am very worried of the consequences, I don't know if this could cause any future problems (e.g. residency request...)

Hi.

 

We often suggest to people to consider why they shoplifted and if there's a medical reason. If there is, you should talk to your GP about getting some support.

wont affect residency application, no-one can report it, even RLP. They like to claim they have superpowers but luckily for them no-one else has asked them to show them off
