    • Hi all.   I have an ongoing complaint registered with HSBC and they told me last week that I’ve got to wait until the manager dealing with this gets back from her annual leave at the start of July! I’m very unhappy about this - is there anything I can do other than complain about this, which I have?
    • I was in a similar situation a long time ago. After the first messing about from the buyer for a front light not working which i fixed at his address, i got another text about worn tyres. Next day i went there with cash, bought the bike back and sold it to someone else.  Some mugs think that they buy a 20 year old vehicle from a private individual and it must be in showroom conditions with full warranty.  If you can, get the quad back and sell it to a more normal person. This is a mick taking monkey and will call you for years to come even for a puncture.
    • Morning. Just putting together my sar. The template letter asks for an account number and in the body of the letter again an account number as a starting point for reference. Dx did state not to put an account number in the letter so is it ok to just put my full name, dob and current and previous addresses to help them find me?  Many thanks.
    • oops already cashed the cheque as I'd read somewhere that it would just be removed from the new claim if successful.   I take it that's that then now?
    • My personal experiences of Future Comms    Don't touch them owe me £500 since January 2019 make excuse after excuse. Seem they always have software problems sending money out. Keep saying they will call back or email nothing been chasing it now for 6 mths the phone staff always have the same banter we will chase it up and get back to you then nothing! Probably the worst company I have ever dealt with lie after lie, think trading standards should look into there misconduct and no obligation of fulfilling contracts. Have also asked for all the conversations had with them but nothing has been forth coming again seem a law unto themselves! Awaite fFuture Comms answers to these problems that I have been having with the miss selling of phone contracts by themselves...……..    Well a call back and payment date of August 28th because of their mistake in may or should I say excuse of not paying.Told them not good enough payment by 12pm Monday or going to take legal action because they are now in breach of contract and want compensation at the rate they would charge me if I terminated payments to them! Probably the biggest crooks I've dealt with go on Future Comms report me for telling the truth I'm sure my legal team would like even more ammunition to get what's rightfully mine back!   Keep away shocking company No payment, no hope of payment peddle more crap then a drugs dealer in a crack den! • This is a bit of a lengthy one but I’ll summerise best as possible.

THIS IS HOW THE PHONECALL WENT

I was contacted by future comms by phone, they stated that they could beat any phone contract I have , (I am a limited company but just myself that needs a business phone and I am the only worker)
I told future comms my deal, £110 per month with a phone and a virtual landline, they confirmed that they could beat that, £90 per month with a phone , virtual landline  they also confirmed they would pay Vodafone (previous provider) the termination fee. As I am in business, naturally I was open to making a deal. So we proceeded.
Future comms then revealed that the contract would be with PLAN.COM and the airtime would be provided by 02, I instantly told them that this would break the deal as I have poor 02 signal in the house where I live as my partner is on 02 and constantly complaining about bad signal
the salesman assured me he would send a signal booster box out with the phone so I would have perfect signal.
      so far so good.....
i then explained this is the only mobile phone I use for business and pleasure, so therefore I didn’t want any disconnection time in the slightest between the switchover from Vodafone to 02
the salesman then confirmed that the existing phone would only be disconnected once the new phone was switched on.
      so far so good....

CLI Chasing apparent italian speeding fines +4yrs old

Recommended Posts

Hi

was wondering if anyone could help.

Received some quite crazy letters from ‘CLI International Debt Collectors’ about some apparent outstanding debts (speeding fines) from Italy.

I was under the impression these were cleared off and have never heard from the Italian motor people for over 4 years now and then randomly got these through the post.

There have been 4 letters

- 3 saying what the debt is (no dates or ticket refs though)

then one about how they will now be sending doorstep collectors unless contact within 7 days is made.

Now I have been ignoring

I’ve seen some forum posts about this company but dating back to 2017

I was wondering if the same sort of rights applied and I can keep ignoring or is this something I should be worrying about?

ignore

Last time i checked CLI are not registered to deal with debts. They simply provide template letters

a dca is not a bailiff

Thank you!

Is it worth returning to sender?

As the letters are a little unsettling and does worry my parents more than anything

I also read somewhere I could write to company and say stop contacting me otherwise I can report to trading standards ..

do you advise against this?

also can this affect my U.K. credit score in anyway?

Thanks for the help I really appreciate it

No, you file them somewhere safe. If you return them they might fancy their chances at getting a backdoor CCJ even though theyn have no right or authority to sue you.

how on earth could it affect your credit score- you didnt signa credit agreement with teh Italian govt. TBH most of the local fines issued by Italian town halls are bent anyway.

CLI cant do any more tha send scary letters so tell your parents to stop worrying, tye are effectively junk mail. It costs CLI to send them out so let them waste their money, they arent getting any from you.

Ahh thank you

I have sent one back because I was given advice to do so :( but I do have a picture of the letter that I sent back anyway. They can’t do a CCJ based on one being sent back? I’m just scared to get anything on my credit file as I am planning to apply for mortgage next year so I really want nothing to affect it!

I will file the rest away

thanks for your help

just to clarify if someone does come to my door I can ask them to leave ? And I should get my parents to do the same?
