    • this is their last  reply   As per our recent conversation with legal transfer team, they told us about the insurance which needs to be done in order to secure this high loan amount of £20000 & your refund of £3551,you need to pay the 495 pounds of insurance cost. This insurance is good for you, as it covers you for any unavoidable circumstances where you are unable to pay the monthly installments, then the insurance will take care of it. Also, this is refundable which means after this payment the total amount that you are going to get into your account is £20000+£3551+£550+£495 =£24396, without delays.   WTF she asked for it to be cancelled which she has paid for she just informed me
    • ty  DX and Andy,  think she thought it was a s c a m , fraud or whatever, she not that good at things like this,  she is going check her account again
    • Resurrecting this thread. Yes it was a pi. More letters came to relative; Car lurking. hassling neighbours  Then nothing; then it started again. All other mail remained unopened until today. I now understand they're trying to locate me, not another member of extended family, and were kind of misleading elderly relative.  So now I understand they have played dumb on purpose.  They have my contact details - but they didn't want to really find me.  Interestingly both bank and lawyer stopped emailing me  few weeks before the harassment of relative started.  So they appointed a pi in a different geographical area, to attempt to serve at an address they knew I hadn't lived in for decades.   Obviously the SD wasn't received/ opened.  Few months passed and another letter in post.  Now read, it says that they wanted to attend on certain day/time (missed obviously) to issue a B petition.  And if not there they would go for substituted service. It is now very clear that the bank appointed such a poor pi on purpose - to expedite a back-door B without my knowledge.  Repossessed ages ago but is still unsold.  Papers state that the loans are being recalled, makes no mention they already have possession of property that was secured.     I suspect their plan is to grab the property as part of the overall loan debt owed and make me B - then can do what they want with the property in a better market?   They have had offers - but none high enough to clear debt.  I understand the receiver has been in discussions with people - the last email received showed that  everyone was at a similar level.  But he hasn't closed one.   Neither has he advised that he or the bank wish to locate me to serve papers. Can't afford a lawyer. What to do now?  How quickly after attempted b petition service can they go for substituted? Surely the SD hasn't been properly served, let alone them going for a b petition. Should i contact pi? or relative? in writing

The following may provide previous history ...worth a go.

To determine who supplies the gas to a property, you’ll first need to find the gas meter. On it, you’ll find the Meter Point Reference Number (MPRN), the unique six- to 10-digit gas supply reference code. Write down this number and phone the National Grid’s Meter Number Helpline on 0870 608 1524. If you give them this number, they’ll be able to tell you the current gas supplier for a property.

I know you want previous supplier that is why I have been advising you for the last 3 hours.....I said worth a go...I did mine and it looked for previous records...then said only 1 record found so it is  possible to get historic suppliers.

You already covered that in post # 87. Your record keeping is as good as the suppliers

Leave it at that.....so no one on earth can dispute the fact or confirm who supplied Gas before Southern...EON cant or wont disclose who they took over from ...or if in fact they did.

So if for example you stated BG supplied before Southern ...nowhere or no one can dispute that fact either...we a basis of a defence

one thing I would know is IF it was Southern Electric who supplied us before Eon there would most likely a payment going out of my old bank Royal Bank of Scotland on 1st December 2013 because everytime I have been with Southern Electric DD has been 1st of every month

My wife remembered something else probably not exactly relevant but

they offered her a cheaper plan than what we were on

she got collared by one in the Mall near where we live but had to call to set up

in that call they said about the our credit and needed a £200 upfront

she told them we couldn't afford that so offered to have pre-payment meter fitted

in which National grid came out and said one could not be fitted there

i'm sorry I know a lot has been said already but that's the full picture of what happened

So Southern were providing Gas supply up until  Dec 2013.

Allegedly EON supplied Gas up until 24th January till 16th June 2014

who supplies you now and from 2014 ?

EON allegedly supplied the gas 18/12/13 - 25/03/14 and from 26/03/14 till present Southern Electric

all seems to coincide with each other

first bill presumably from 18/12/13 to 23/01/14 £87.59 which we don't remember or find anywhere

same goes with final bill which she didn't state amount for

- I think for period 24/01/14 to 24/03/14 £166.64

in which Lowell are asking for only the final bill amount not previous 18/12/13-23/01/14

for some reason both bills we cannot find or remember receiving
