So you do owe it and Lowell's claim is valid and you didn't have Southern then as your supplier ?

but what I don't understand is how can they continue to supply if we didn't meet their criteria which in turn no agreement 

 

looks that way Andy but why in maiden name as it is in her married name and and continued supply without us meeting their criteria and no agreement?

Maiden name married name is irrelevant really...they can use either...both legally valid.As for criteria obviously they disregarded it in the end and flicked the switch.

Your request for supply is your agreement there are no signed printed agreements for utility supplies.

 

The only proof do invalidate this claim is if you have documented proof that you paid Southern for the same period.

not all suppliers use all the differing credit file providers

there are 3 you'd have to check each [experian, equifax and, callcredit, ]

[is her old address showing and her maiden name in the linked sections?]

but they don't have to use them

 

defence is not due for a few weeks yet [day 33]

and lowells have only just got your CPR.

please don't hit Quote...just type we know what we said earlier..

DCA's view debtors as suckers, marks and mugs

NO DCA has ANY legal powers whatsoever on ANY debt no matter what it's Type

and they

are NOT and can NEVER  be BAILIFFS. even if a debt has been to court..

If everyone stopped blindly paying DCA's Tomorrow, their industry would collapse overnight...

No panic as yet, just see if Southern have been paid anything for the period Eon billed for. also as DX says Lowell will need to respond to the CPR,

thanks DX but I think she uses clearscore or totalmoney and yes her maiden is on them as it asked for previous addresses and other names but bear in mind we have lived at this address since November 2005

 

Southern Supplied our gas from 26/3/14 unfortunately I just asked them 

 

What I don't understand I know it maybe stupid but if a company disregards their criteria without your knowledge then apparently send a bill which to this day can't remember getting and looked all over for and can't find for approximately 3 months surely something not right there

But in the same breath...you was using electricity during this period...surely you knew someone was supplying it and it wasn't free and had to pay someone ?

we didn't know at that point though as we didn't meet their criteria say like for example I was just looking into them to supply but not actually go with them because we didn't meet their criteria is it right they can just supply you is that right?

 

seems like a lack of communication on both sides here in my opinion 

 

another example would be I apply for lets say a loan for example I get turned down because I didn't meet their criteria are they just going to give me that loan they just turned down?

gas supply? and how can I enquire without a bill to enquire about?

 

no bill,no prepayment meter fitted and couldn't afford the £200 upfront but ok i'll still supply you for enquiring for at least a month I think we would of queried it and moved supplier

So you didn't have a Gas supplier when you moved into the property ? Or you did but was in arrears ?

 

If you could work a time line out from moving into the property and who supplied Gas ?

Okay so you approached EON who said you didn't meet their criteria they wanted a £200 deposit and wanted to switch you to a prepayment meter but in the end they declined your request ?

 

Yet you were a good customer of BG assuming it was BG with no arrears..... the Q is did BG stop your agreement and give you a final bill ? up to what date ?

Find out the previous supplier ...the final bill and amount with dates and see if that allowed EON to supply before Southern took over.
