    • I was in a similar situation a long time ago. After the first messing about from the buyer for a front light not working which i fixed at his address, i got another text about worn tyres. Next day i went there with cash, bought the bike back and sold it to someone else.  Some mugs think that they buy a 20 year old vehicle from a private individual and it must be in showroom conditions with full warranty.  If you can, get the quad back and sell it to a more normal person. This is a mick taking monkey and will call you for years to come even for a puncture.
    • Morning. Just putting together my sar. The template letter asks for an account number and in the body of the letter again an account number as a starting point for reference. Dx did state not to put an account number in the letter so is it ok to just put my full name, dob and current and previous addresses to help them find me?  Many thanks.
    • oops already cashed the cheque as I'd read somewhere that it would just be removed from the new claim if successful.   I take it that's that then now?
    • My personal experiences of Future Comms    Don't touch them owe me £500 since January 2019 make excuse after excuse. Seem they always have software problems sending money out. Have also asked for all the conversations had with them but nothing has been forth coming again seem a law unto themselves! • This is a bit of a lengthy one but I’ll summerise best as possible.

THIS IS HOW THE PHONECALL WENT

I was contacted by future comms by phone, they stated that they could beat any phone contract I have , (I am a limited company but just myself that needs a business phone and I am the only worker)
I told future comms my deal, £110 per month with a phone and a virtual landline, they confirmed that they could beat that, £90 per month with a phone , virtual landline  they also confirmed they would pay Vodafone (previous provider) the termination fee. As I am in business, naturally I was open to making a deal. So we proceeded.
Future comms then revealed that the contract would be with PLAN.COM and the airtime would be provided by 02, I instantly told them that this would break the deal as I have poor 02 signal in the house where I live as my partner is on 02 and constantly complaining about bad signal
the salesman assured me he would send a signal booster box out with the phone so I would have perfect signal.
      so far so good.....
i then explained this is the only mobile phone I use for business and pleasure, so therefore I didn’t want any disconnection time in the slightest between the switchover from Vodafone to 02
the salesman then confirmed that the existing phone would only be disconnected once the new phone was switched on.
      so far so good....

Harlands/exercise 4 less

Posted (edited)

Hi

My girlfriend recently decided to cancel her x4l contract but could find no info on the site so I advised her to just cancel her DD as this was the procedure I've followed for all my gyms. I'm sure you can guess what's happened next re Harlands.

After the first email pertaining to missed payment and fees we found this site and decided to send a letter made from template we found here shown below. We have now received another email also shown below. Should we sit tight and ignore them now or remind them of our stance.

I should also say she had been a member for years so any minimum term would be long gone.

Look forward to any help

Thanks

Hi Ledzep and welcome to CAG

The first letter image has been removed as it identified your GF by name. The letter offered to pay a fee for the month's notice but no admin fees (based on one of my drafts).

I suggest you simply ignore further demands for now as arguing the toss with Harlands/CRS is a waste of time.

Keep us posted.

:-)
