it would back up your and any others

remove all pers info inc barcodes etc using paint program

@Leannemerch.

So lets get this straight Leanne. You purchased a car on finance and the gearbox went so you had no use of the car for over eight months then the vendor "got involved" and it only took a further 10 days to be repaired, during which period you happily parted with the sum of £1648 in monthly payments for this car you couldn't use, now that's what you state isn't it?

And yet you still recommend the company that sold you this heap of junk to the public.

You then go on to say and I quote: "At the end of the day, they don't need the hassle of trying to sell on a car that will have depreciated in value through general wear and tear. "

And yet the evidence seems to suggest that this isn't quite as much hassle as you make out since they often seem to be able to sell the same vehicle more than once whilst still pusuing the previous owners for outstanding finance. Seems like a good business to me:

Sell car to A for £x, repo the car then sell car to B for £y and continue to claim £x from A at the same time.

Wonder what the record number of times a vehicle has been sold repoed is. I'm guessing it's at least 3 and possibly four times over. I'm also guessing the jalopy they sold you that didn't even work for the best part of a year was one of those that you acknowledge had "depreciated in value through general wear and tear. " So I expect this was reflected in the purchase price especially as the fault was common to this particular vehicle (urban myth generally) am I correct?

As of 03/03/12 please do not under any circumstances wait for my further input or guidance on any current thread or defence of a court claim I might have been involved in on or through Cag.

  • 7 years later...

Hi all,

its been a while but am back after advice on what I do next with this delightful company

i had a car from them back in 2000 initially and i part ex a car in possibly 2003

then a year after that i had money troubles new born baby and couldn’t afford it

They kindly repossessed and made out they were doing me a favour at the time

sent abusive letters/calls/texts etc all the normal delightful stuff and

in 2006 he put a ccj on me for an amount over £10k with a repayment plan and i was not able to pay this

i may have paid one or 2 payments but that was it

i haven’t heard a single thing for over 16 years until recently saying they are going to take legal action and purse this through the county court business centre.

what i am wanting to know is can they do this after so long and what my next steps are please

i don’t have a single piece of paperwork due to the time this has been the amount they are claiming for if I remember correctly was all negativity equity as I changed cars possibly 3 times and also charges and interest.

thank you for your advice in advance
