As suggested I made and received a CPR 31.14 request. And they supplied a photo of a notice which does not exist on site. I've checked twice.

I might just include a copy. In one of the WS.
More sort of a quick question - if I ask for a bill how long should it take to get it
I was due a bill 20th June, emailed them 24th as hadnt had it and basically got an email saying computer issues please wait
Start of July got an email saying there had been issues with their customers on E7 meters and they had inverted the night and day readings but they wouldn't be back billing this past 1st April when they realised the error - and that bill should be through shortly
Sent them an email querying as I have solar panels during the day and charge an electric car at night - asked to ensure I wouldn't be out of pocket... No answer
Asked for a bill again as well
Now it wouldn't usually be an issue but I usually overpay by a fair amount in order to get bits out at various points for the year (holidays, Christmas etc)
They get the meter readings from the smart meter so their not an issue, and by my estimate (took last year's bill and added a third for the extra month) the bill should be approx £450 - at 1st Aug however the account will be over £900 in credit so even minus that bill I'd like a little out as we go away in August - something I can't take out however until I get that bill through
OK so after that ramble is there a time limit until I get my bill?
Your Brother can safely ignore Moorcroft and then see what Santander do with the debt. It is important to keep Santander advised of his up to date address, so your Brother receives all correspondence.
If you really wanted to understand the real debt amount, then send an SAR to Santander. Ask for copies of all records up to date, including any documents issued including statements of account and any default notices issued.
BUT if the last payments were made through Stepchange, they should have information of the debt amount after the last payment was made.
Hi all that’s great, thank you very much for the info... so :
1. stepchange details and last date (which could be 2017 though )
2. It’s on hold with moorcroft until the 3rd August, what’s best to do or say to them pls in this instance ? weve been saying we know there’s a debt however the figures do not add up, the default sum is £8800 and the amount they are asking is £10,499 we asked for how it got to that they have only sent a payment summary, credit agreement and (possibly not in the right format) default notice
3. So do not put in a sar to either of them ?
Many thanks again
