Hi

I used to receive statements with a balance for our NatWest loan and current accounts which I have a CCJ for every 6 months from NatWest. For sometime now the statements have only included the loan account and I have received nothing for the current account so assumed this was paid off. Apparently according to shoosmiths it’s not.

Do natwest have an obligation to send statements for this current account every so often?

Thanks

Hi,

When was the last time you received a statement as I'm sure Natwest stopped sending out paper statements for Current Accounts  some time ago.

You could always send them a DSAR.

Any advice I give is honest and in good faith.:)

If in doubt, you should seek the opinion of a Qualified Professional.

If you can, please donate to this site.

But the Judgment amount does .....Im fairly sure that a creditor does not need to service statements on dormant current accounts...but irrespective of this Shooes should be providing regular statements of payments made to the judgment.....perhaps a DSAR will reveal all.

As long as you have a record of payments I suppose its irrelevant whether you get a statement for the current anyway ?
