A few years ago my wife signed up to contract with vodaphone, got new phone as well.

On getting home she had no signal, so next day she brought phone and sim back to shop and cancelled contract.

Today she got a letter from lowell demanding £103 for vodaphone.

Does she just ignore it?

she cancelled within 14 days no debt should exist.

go complain to voda and ask what is going on

no debt exists under CRA rules

please don't hit Quote...just type we know what we said earlier..

DCA's view debtors as suckers, marks and mugs

NO DCA has ANY legal powers whatsoever on ANY debt no matter what it's Type

and they

are NOT and can NEVER  be BAILIFFS. even if a debt has been to court..

If everyone stopped blindly paying DCA's Tomorrow, their industry would collapse overnight...

Make sure you tell Voda they have sold a non debt to Lowell, who will carry on chasing you, as they have bought the non debt for pennies in the pound, so you want written proof for yourself, and Lowell to be informed there is no debt to chase.  Advise Vodafone you will be referring them to FCA and FO, notwithstanding their breach of GDPR providing your details to Lowell with the non debt for which you will be reporting Voda to ICO for said breach, there being no right to pass on your details to Lowell as debt didn't exist for them to sell on.

Do not engage in phone calls with Lowell, just provide them with proof from Voda that all was mistake.

We could do with some help from you.
