Hi I’m after a bit of advice please ,

 

my wife had to visit an emergency doctors practice last week ,

she parked purchased a ticket but over stayed by 14 minutes,

 

she has received a parking notice for £60 ,

is there any thing we can do ?

Yes, 1st port of call is to complain to the practice. Under NHS parking guidelines they are meant to make allowances when appointments are running late etc. If this was a doctor's practice complain to the practice manager (not the receptionist) and insist that they instruct Manor to cancel. No saying who the driver was. Your wife came for an appointment and her car was parked, never "she parked".

A grace period of "at least" 10 minutes should apply, if appointments running late it could be construed as more, in any case the actual loss to Manor is trivial.

please don't hit Quote...just type we know what we said earlier..

DCA's view debtors as suckers, marks and mugs

NO DCA has ANY legal powers whatsoever on ANY debt no matter what it's Type

and they

are NOT and can NEVER  be BAILIFFS. even if a debt has been to court..

If everyone stopped blindly paying DCA's Tomorrow, their industry would collapse overnight...
