2 Date on the NTK [this must have been received within 14 days from the 'offence' date] 28/11/2018

3 Date received 30/11/2018

4 Does the NTK mention schedule 4 of The Protections of Freedoms Act 2012? [y/n?] No, but says ANPR - made under POFA 2012

5 Is there any photographic evidence of the event? Yes, see attachments

6 Have you appealed? {y/n?] post up your appeal] No

7 Who is the parking company? UKCPS

8. Where exactly [carpark name and town] Abbeywood Retail park (MacDonalds section), Bristol

What's the standard advice for these nowadays please?

please don't hit Quote...just type we know what we said earlier..

DCA's view debtors as suckers, marks and mugs

NO DCA has ANY legal powers whatsoever on ANY debt no matter what it's Type

and they

are NOT and can NEVER  be BAILIFFS. even if a debt has been to court..

If everyone stopped blindly paying DCA's Tomorrow, their industry would collapse overnight...

  • 3 weeks later...

Just had the next letter in the chain from ukcps titled "notification letter", informing me that 28 days have elapsed since they last wrote, and under schedule 4 of pofa I am liable for their invoice. I will continue to ignore unless someone says otherwise.

of course that is not strictly true, you can name the driver at any time up to the point of them issuing a court claim.

so you could say that the driver was Simon Renshaw-Smith od 2 europa Court, sheffield S9 1XE when you get the lba and they will have to write to him to see if he admits this.

It could be a good time and (their) money wasting tactic if anyone who got a NTK named one of the other parking co directors as the driver. They would be obliged to chase it up or they would lose at court regardless of the rest of the claim. I give permission for Will and John to use my car any time they want so it will be likely they were driving the next time I get a demand.
