It converts a forthwith to monthly payment which is set to suit your finances...so if £5 a month so be it...rubber stamped by the court....if you try to negotiate direct ...which it sounds thats what your doing.....they can alter it whenever they feel like it and if you dont comply can execute the judgment...but not if you submit an N245 as advised.

But hey what do we know ?

How is that going to help me dx

I have got a debt I have to pay it

Hornsey just wanted to ask have CWD bought the debt after being passed through the courts of the UAE or are they still acting on behalf of the bank and your payments will still go to the bank and not CWD ?

pay only the claimant

please don't hit Quote...just type we know what we said earlier..

DCA's view debtors as suckers, marks and mugs

NO DCA has ANY legal powers whatsoever on ANY debt no matter what it's Type

and they

are NOT and can NEVER  be BAILIFFS. even if a debt has been to court..

If everyone stopped blindly paying DCA's Tomorrow, their industry would collapse overnight...

agree !! something fishy here and not right !!!

I went through this in 2014 and pushed back with CWD when they were trying to operate IDR of there offices and the answer I got was they are just representing the bank and pay direct into a IBAN account.

  • 2 weeks later...

@Hornsey62 looked at it skip - looks like you messed up because you think you knew better.

Everyone else seems to be doing just fine - just you and @Squaddy hanging around to let everyone know they are doomed 😂

Honestly if you had put as much effort in to your defence as you have to letting everyone know you lost, you probably would have won 😂

no i dont think its funny...

and no we didn't wrongly advise you

YOU WOULDNT POST ANYTHING HERE TO GET HELP

but you PERSIST in joining every thread started since just as this new user states to portraying doom and gloom

sorry but i'm fast believing you took a backhander and can now be claseed as one of the patsies they paid to go thru court.

so if we were to forget the two mentioned here already.....

as I've said for years.

there are no successful cases

those that you read about elsewhere are either patsies or former employees or family again paid to take a hit.

hornsey sorry but i'm now doing to be recommending you are barred from posting in this overseas forum.

you repeatedly refuse to post the defence you used

you repeatedly refuse to post either witness statement nor exhibits.

to help others.

  • 1 year later...

I think it was only their own costs they were interested in. I sold my property and paid the charge with some of the equity.

I dont know why they treat people differently. I know someone else who was sent a statutory demand but never made them bankrupt

Bankruptcy doesn't cover secured debts. Dx is right my conveyancer told me I didnt have to pay off the restriction k but I didnt want it hanging over me.

I was not given correct information here and there is a legal reason to pay this debt.

  Most of the actions you took were off your own back and opposite to the advice given here on the limited information you provided..in between long periods with no updates.

The equity is minimal here plus it’s in both names and I actually don’t own my equity either.

Again... sparse information posted that does not make sense...why do you not own the equity ?
