CWD - PAP Letter re old UAE debt now claim form

It converts a forthwith to monthly payment which is set to suit your finances...so if £5 a month so be it...rubber stamped by the court....if you try to negotiate direct ...which it sounds thats what your doing.....they can alter it whenever they feel like it and if you dont comply can execute the judgment...but not if you submit an N245 as advised.

Hornsey just wanted to ask have CWD bought the debt after being passed through the courts of the UAE or are they still acting on behalf of the bank and your payments will still go to the bank and not CWD ?

agree !! something fishy here and not right !!!

 

I went through this in 2014 and pushed back with CWD when they were trying to operate IDR of there offices and the answer I got was they are just representing the bank and pay direct into a IBAN account.

I objected to my charging order and lost.

Added another £1200 to costs and once it was secured they made me bankrupt.

 

The charging order was for their costs only. So bank got nothing.

Why was it not the whole debt? 
why did they go for bankruptcy surely then no one gets anything?

I think it was only their own costs they were interested in. I sold my property and paid the charge with some of the equity.

 

I dont know why they treat people differently. I know someone else who was sent a statutory demand but never made them bankrupt. 

 

Bankruptcy doesn't cover secured debts. Dx is right my conveyancer told me I didnt have to pay off the restriction k but I didnt want it hanging over me.

really..

after all you and us have been thru you voluntarily paid the debt when there was no legal reason too..and stuff and all they could have done about it..no the judge cant force any payment on a restriction K.

I paid the charge because I was made bankrupt and any extra money would go towards the bankruptcy.
