Hi All,

I'm new to this forum but hope someone can help me out?

I received a PCN through post yesterday from PCP enforcement agency (trading name of parkshield collection Ltd)

Date of event (doesn't say offence)-30/08/2018

location - service/estate roads off anchor road,harbourside,Bristol,bs1

During period from: 22:20:55

to time of notice issue at:22:40:18

reason for issue- no valid permit

Now the only problem with this notice is that I've never been to Bristol and the vehicle in question has been SORN off road for 2 years and is parked at my parents house except when it has MOT or my dad uses it for work (trade plates are then used)

I have been on the agency's website to appeal but can't as I don't have notice issued obviously and there's no sign of any photographic evidence either.

Not sure what to do next, write an appeal which I don't think is fair seeing as it's definitely not my fault.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Thank you.

Ignore them imho.

Can you scan and upload what they've sent?

You can also email/write to the DVLA and demand they tell you who has been (incorrectly) accessing your information.

Who ever heard of someone getting a job at the Jobcentre? The unemployed are sent there as penance for their sins, not to help them find work!

DONT APPEAL for starters, they have clearly got things massively wrong so dotn engage with them yet or they will thin that they have a chance of collecting some money even if you dont owe it.

The demand is out of time for any keeper liability regardless of how they say the issued a ticket.

Also the so called reason isnt a valid one, they are saying that you did somehting that is prohibited and that isnt a contract, you cant agree to only form a contract by breaking it.

Now, did they have any pictures of the supposed event? I woudl be most surprised but if they do have a good look, does the vehicle match as far as make and colour go. I would surmise they have a bod who walks the streets and has written down somehting illegible and they ave looked up the keeper details of all of the possible permutations and probably demanded money from each of them.

Show us what they have sent to you with your personal detials redacted along with their reference codes, barcodes etc but if ther are photographs leave them visibla as much as possible so we can see what it is that you have actually received. It is common to forget to sed stuff out in the prescribed format and prescribed time as they dotn want to have the bother of obeying the law and then can avoid offering a discount period.

We may be suggesting that you ask for high resolution images as proof of the breach but let them waste their time and money for the moment.

They are IPC members to logic and reasoning wont work as they are advised at every stage by the world's most incompetent lawyers, Gladstones, whose owners just happen to own the IPC

Thank you all for the quick responses,

No they have given no photographic evidence,I looked at online appeal process but they wouldn't accept it as they have already incurred costs apparently tracking down my info!!

My pc has broken at the moment but will try and take a clear pic of letter and upload it.
