I also received a letter today about b&q but I didn’t even go there on that day

and I don’t even know what happend they also tell me to pay £95.15 but I done nothing so do I still have to pay?

Hi and welcome to CAG. I have moved your post from the other thread to one of your own. This prevents confusion.



You could ignore them as this has nothing to do with you but it does seem that someone who knows you has stolen from B&Q and given your details when stopped.



If this was happening to me, I would be writing one letter to CRS telling them that your ID has been used when it wasn't you and should they persist in chasing you for this, you will treat it as harassment which is a criminal offence. I would also contact B&Q to complain that their security staff have failed in their duty to confirm a name and address.



You will probably get a letter from CRS stating that they need proof it wasn't you. NO! They need to prove it WAS you.

If you are asked to deal with any matter via private message, PLEASE report it.
