I am on the new style loan and after moving repeatedly I haven't had any contact since 2015. I now live in France and was wondering if anyone has ever successfully lost student loans? Would I be unable to return to the U.K if they have lost me?

I don't know about the Student Loan Company losing people – but I'm afraid we can't get into a discussion about how you can avoid a legitimate debt

students loans cannot lose you.

as soon as you earn above the threshold in the uk HRMC will inform them and they will contact you and begin to take their share even if you ignore them
