I just received a Local authority PCN, which correctly lists the make of my vehicle but incorrectly lists the model of my vehicle. Is the PCN therefore invalid? Thanks

No, make , model, colour are not statutory requirements

As long as they have recorded the reg no correctly the rest is immaterial with a ticket slapped on the vehicle or handed to you.

I was sent the pnc via post. Does that make a difference from them handing the ticket to me or placing it directly on the vehicle?

if you werent there and they issued a ticket incorrectly then this would run and run but lets face it, you are clutching at straws here and you know it. We would all like to find valid reasons for appealing a PCN but if there isnt one accept it and pay the discounted fine
