I saw a film last week and did not like it at all. Left half way through the film and the theatre refused to refund me stating I had sat through more than 50% of the picture. I want to just go back and get my refund with BC. Any idea where to begin?

Was it a mainstream film that had been approved with a film classification.

Unless the film was unexpectedly outrageous or offensive, I can see no reason for you to expect a refund.

Can you say what the film was and/or why you "did not like it".

In any event, unless the ticket cost you £100 or more, you have no redress under s75 of the CCA.

We could do with some help from you
