My sister has been getting DLA at £88 per month, I recently filled in her PIP forms with help from her care home and have been informed her payments will be £110 per week.

Nothing has changed in her circumstances just wondering how there can be such a difference.

Yes, the criteria is different. I went from £77 a week to £113.

The award letter with the points explains how.

When do the PIP payments start then, says from the 9th of April but she has had 3 payments of DLA and no PIP.

I take it the payment will show as PIP not DLA.

There is no low rate care any more, so if they get care, it is now classed as standard and enhanced, which equates to middle and high care when it was DLA. So you get slightly more because of this.

She now gets £1.96 extra per month.
