Hi,

I am after a little advice, or pointing in the right direction.

One of my children has a debt from Lloyds TSB (A loan taken out many years ago).

Whilst she was talking about money she mentioned she has two DCA's but only one debt.

She said she's been paying it for years, but it never really seems to go down.

She has dropped the paperwork off for me to look at, and they are both debts for Lloyds.

Different amounts, but she only had one loan.

Is there a way to find out if it is the same debt or somehow different ones.

One company is Lowell Portfolio, and the other is Wescot.

Thanks in advance

who is wetcloths stated client in their letters

please don't hit Quote...just type we know what we said earlier..

DCA's view debtors as suckers, marks and mugs

NO DCA has ANY legal powers whatsoever on ANY debt no matter what it's Type

and they

are NOT and can NEVER  be BAILIFFS. even if a debt has been to court..

If everyone stopped blindly paying DCA's Tomorrow, their industry would collapse overnight...

Do Lowells and Wetcloths refer to any account numbers....are they the same or different ?

Do lowell state they are acting on behalf of Lloyds or that they have purchased the debt ?

From memory the reference numbers are different. One looked more like an AC - Sort. If that is the case I may have answered my own question, that they are collecting for a loan account and a current account.

Cheers

From memory....I thought you had all the paperwork ?

So who is chasing the loan and who is chasing the overdraft ?

Do lowell state they are acting on behalf of Lloyds or that they have purchased the debt ?

This would be far easier if you could scan and redact and upload the latest letters from each DCA...otherwise we could be here until Xmas:wink:
