Hello folks.

 

Ive just been issued a parking fine by smartparking.com.

 

What infuriates me, is because I paid at the ticket machine, but it didn't issue a ticket until I pressed the green button three times.

 

Unfortunately for me, I binned my collection of parking tickets two days before I got the notice of fine.

 

Do I have to pay this fine, or simply ignore it?

Hello and welcome to CAG. I've moved your thread to the private parking forum and left you a link to follow.

 

The forum guys should be along later with advice for you, but in the meantime could you fill this in please, to give them the information they need? I doubt if you'll be paying anything if you follow the advice on here. It's not a fine, btw, we prefer to call them speculative invoices.

and its not a fine. Smart always and without exception fail on something. Normally their signage

We need some more specifics, such as what their notice says and what the circumstances were so did you actually pay for the time you were there or was it recorded as not paying at all? Do you ave to put your car reg in when feeding the machine. Wher and when was the event and what was the date you got their letter
