I have received an email from the small claims telephone mediation service for provisional appointment time and date....

 

Is this where I say 'NO' to having enough information about the claim to allow me to enter into negotiations as they have not provided all the in information requested in my CPR request and 'YES' to the other two questions meaning mediation cannot proceed?

please don't hit Quote...just type we know what we said earlier..

DCA's view debtors as suckers, marks and mugs

NO DCA has ANY legal powers whatsoever on ANY debt no matter what it's Type

and they

are NOT and can NEVER  be BAILIFFS. even if a debt has been to court..

If everyone stopped blindly paying DCA's Tomorrow, their industry would collapse overnight...

  • 3 months later...

I finally have an update, after so many protracted months;

received a letter from Lowell Solicitors advising they plan on discontinuing the claim!!

 

Apparently their clients decision was taken on a commercial basis without prejudice to its position that the claim was properly issued in respect of a legitimate debt.

 

Does this mean they could restart proceedings again?

"we are instructed to discontinue the above claim and accordingly enclose a copy of the notice of discontinuance today filed at court."

 

This is how the letter begins.

 

The notice of discontinuance states:

 

"The claimant lowell Portfolio I LTD (and there is a tick in the box next to:) discontinues all of this (claim)"
