my ex husband is now and has been for years paying a woman to work for him "unofficially" cash in hand. He left me for her, they are now married. Before this I believe she was on benefits for years, never told anyone she was earning.

I now want revenge, should I report them and if so how do I do it anonymously ??

Hello and welcome to CAG.

I can understand that you're upset, but this could be a two-edged sword. If they're told that someone has reported them, the first person they're likely to suspect is you. How would that affect you or your children if you have any?

hi, yea I know, that's why I haven't reported them.. it would have to be done in a way that they wouldn't find out it was me. I have moved on and remarried but still want him to pay and this is the only way I can think at the moment

Here's a link to a recent thread where someone else was thinking about reporting a relative. I'm not sure it can be done in a way that it won't be traced back to you, or at least being suspected of grassing on them.

If you really want to move on, the best revenge is to wait for karma to get them. :)

How would you prove the cash in hand work?

By virtue of the process there is no paper trail to follow and spouses do not have to lawfully implicate each other in a crime.

As such fraud would be virtually impossible to prove.
