DCA's view debtors as suckers, marks and mugs

NO DCA has ANY legal powers whatsoever on ANY debt no matter what it's Type

and they

are NOT and can NEVER  be BAILIFFS. even if a debt has been to court..

If everyone stopped blindly paying DCA's Tomorrow, their industry would collapse overnight...

Not by UK law, but can be by the law of the destination country e.g.Brazil

If you have six months or less remaining on your passport, send it off for a replacement and you will get a 10y+6m passport back. There is (as I recall) a tick box to carry the outstanding months over to the new one.

No... you can't eat my brain just yet. I need it a little while longer.

That is called "renewal" by the Passport Office, rather than "replacement".

One can renew at any time, but it is only within the last 9 months that you can carry the outstanding time over : renew with more than 9 months left and you only get 9 months added on.

From : https://www.gov.uk/renew-adult-passport/renew

You can renew your passport at any time. When you renew your passport, time left on your existing passport is added to your new one, up to a maximum of 9 months.

(they call it "replacement" when it is lost, damaged, or stolen).

most countries require you have a least 6 months left minimum in your passport, it is common sense

https://www.google.co.uk/amp/s/amp.theguardian.com/travel/2013/jun/20/passport-expiry-dates-blank-pages

Outside the EU, things can get a little more tricky. Some countries do, indeed, insist on travellers having a minimum of three or six months left on their passport.

Countries that require UK passport holders to have six months of validity left on their passport from the date of entry into the country include Brazil, Ecuador, Turkey, Tunisia and Israel.

https://www.gov.uk/foreign-travel-advice sets out requirements for individual countries.

Surely it is "a few" rather than "most"?

I've heard people say that you need 6 months passport validity for the USA:

https://www.gov.uk/foreign-travel-advice/usa/entry-requirements says otherwise.
