Hi All

My defaults are dropping off my file . Can a second default be initiated against any of them , either by the original lendor or DCA new or old. ?

Or is it one default term per debt ?

Simple answer. No!

Longer one. Once a default is placed it will vanish after 6 years. If a creditor placed another default with a later date, you can take action against them.

The only change that can be made is the name of the creditor. When a debt is sold the new owner can replace the name of the original creditor with their own but the dates MUST stay the same

If you are asked to deal with any matter via private message, PLEASE report it.

Everything I say is opinion only. If you are unsure on any comment made, you should see a qualified solicitor
