Hi

I parked recently at restaurant at retail park near to where I live,

and ended up going to another restaurant opposite to the one I parked near.

A week later I have received a Parking Charge Notice for parking there

they want £100 ( £60 for early payment) which I feel is excessive to say the least.

Would someone kindly take a look at the letter and let me know if it is a [problem] please?

Thanks in advance

Glyn

I have moved your thread to the private parking forum

its not fake and you don't ignore it.

I've had to remove your picture as it shows the PCN number

can you remove that

and repost as a PDF please

follow the upload guide.

dx

please don't hit Quote...just type we know what we said earlier..

DCA's view debtors as suckers, marks and mugs

NO DCA has ANY legal powers whatsoever on ANY debt no matter what it's Type

and they

are NOT and can NEVER  be BAILIFFS. even if a debt has been to court..

If everyone stopped blindly paying DCA's Tomorrow, their industry would collapse overnight...

As it is near where you live,

you need to get over there and take a bunch of photos of the signage,

including the one at the entrance to the site,

and any/all posted around the car park.

As Sixfields is such a big complex, they'll need to have been quite specific in their wording to make it clear that it is for Bella Italia patrons only.

If that is the case, anyone else is prohibited from parking there,

so what you have done is to trespass,

rather than breach a contract (or fail to pay a contractual sum, whichever way they chose to word it - it cannot be both).

Others more expert will advise in due course.

Problem is that if you went elsewhere to eat, you can't get Bella Italia to help you, under threat of losing custom/gaining adverse publicity!

you have blanked out the date.

As these are the most important things that are needed to see if a keepr liability has been created

can you please tell us the date of the event and the date you got this letter and whether you got a ticket slapped on your car at the time

Sight of the signage there is also critical

I would suggest that Bella Italia arent the landowners anyway

so it begs the question of where the curtilage for them starts and stops

and what is the demesne of the landowner for general access etc.
