Can anyone PLEASE offer me any advice on how he can apply descriptors to conditions? We have absolutely no idea how to apply these things? Can someone point us in the right direction?

We really need some idea of how to link his condition specifically to the questions they ask you? Any info would be greatly appreciated.

It might help if you tell us which descriptors you are referring to - ESA, PIP or DLA? Also, are the questions you refer to on the forms or in a face to face assessment?

If you go to the forum stickies, you will find links to useful resources for all of these benefits which might answer your questions. If not, tell us which benefit and whether it's the form or the assessment and I'll do my best to help.

If you are claiming entitlement to Employment & Support Allowance, commonly abbreviated to ESA you will need firstly to fill in Form ESA1. Guidance on filling in this form can be viewed at:

The next stage requires you to fill in Form ESA50. This is preparatory to an Assessment. Guidance on filling in this form can be viewed at:

Guidance on filling in PIP Claim Form can be viewed at:

Guidance on filling in DLA Form can be viewed at:

If you can't get the answer you need at the above sites you could try:
