Hi

I have a mortgage with BOS

I have been in arrears since 2011 and didn't pay at all for a year or so

stated payments again in April till July then missed aug and sept

then set up new arrangement and paid two In October and one in November

the direct debit will be missed on 30th as I don't have enough

but it will be in my bank on 5th jan

will they retry or is it best to call and explain?

My arrears are 9800

Thanks

They could retry. Whenever you know youre going to miss a payment to a creditor, ALWAYS notify them. They have procedures in place to give payment breaks, or stop charges when notified. If you dont contact them, theyll just think youre trying to evade paying and theyll pile on charges/interest/collection activity.

Sinc eyou have a mortgage , you have to be very careful, as they could go straight for a reposession order in court if you have missed a lot and are in substantial arrears.

it might pay you to send them an SAR to them as well

I would expect? there to be all manner of penalty fees levied?

letter/arrears/debt management.

there might even be reclaimable insurances too? PPI/life/ etc etc

the only thing that must be in place is building ins.

and if you already had that, you shouldn't be charged it twice.

the devil is in the detail

I will give them a call on 28th and explain there will be insufficient funds available for the 30th and an it will be available on 5th Jan when I get paid if they don't retry im guessing it's about 7 days later?

I will ask see what they advise, will they accept this?

Considering I've paid then missed then paid????

They did say as I paid in October November that it stopped doorstep advisor what is that for?

Is this a step they take before trying to reposess?

Thanks

the door step visitor will be their approved debt management advisor

they cost £100 a time even if they don't attend

you refuse it.

looks like that SAR could be useful.

all the above I mentioned are unlawful and reclaimable at their interest rate too!!
