First I've heard of this,

I haven't received anything else regarding this matter,

isn't this something that I have to attend court for?

if so why wasn't nothing stated nor issued to me?

I have to pay £1005.82+£110 fee within 8 days to a company I don't even know about?

or even know what money they are trying to get from me?

Over the past few years I've been working hard to pay back things i genuinely do owe, and for this to pop up is just annoying..

I work a part time 30 hour a week job,

any ideas?

Obviously if the debt is true I'll pay, but from how long ago could it go back to?

moved to legals and retitled

looks like cabot/rectums have gotten a backdoor CCJ for an old debt at an old address because you didn't update your creditors you had moved?

and now miraculously have found you real address..how strange they did that eh?

please don't hit Quote...just type we know what we said earlier..

if everyone stopped blindly paying DCA's tomorrow

you'd have to ring northants bulk with the claim number and ask for a copy of the CCJ

if you record the call they might give the date and reason to you over the phone

check what address it was filed too as well

I would suspect it was all done on purpose.

prove they knew your reall address and you can get it set aside

but that's £255

You have 8 days to complete and return the N56...not pay the debt...they intend to stop it from your salary through your employer (Attachment of Earnings)

check all of the CRA files to see who and when your details were accessed.

as said, they probably found you had moved and deliberately used the old address for service of documents.

The footprint on your credit file will show if this did happen.

The set-aside will be relatively straightforward then, deliberate abuse of civil procedure. if the money relates to a SB debt they wont be objecting to the set aside either becuase they would otherwise be paying for it in the recovened hearing.

called the company, was something from 2009,

but apparently had some sort of transaction in 2012/13? (not from me) 2009 is well over the threshold surely?

How do I go about finding out what the transaction was in 2012/13,

pretty certain I had nothing to do with the account during that time,

for all I know an ex-partner could have been doing something?

or maybe even people living in my old apartment...?

you are going to need to sar the original creditor

you've not time for that before you must deal with post 5

it is VERY common for cabot and rectums to claim phantom payments in later 2012

their usual trick.

so what was the debt?
