had a Halifax credit card around 2002 for £3200,

I was making payments for a few yrs

then when the wife had to give up work I struggled to pay.

I was told by the cab to ask Halifax for my signed credit agreement and was told if it wasn't signed I wouldn't have to pay.

Eventually I stopped hearing from Halifax then

now and again other companies would buy the debt but I never once replied.

The last 5 yrs I've had numerous letters from lowell but

a month ago they decided to take me to court.

I have replied to the court that it should be S/B and

have today received a letter saying they are carrying on with the case.

. my credit file says it was defaulted in 2011 so it's within the last 6 yrs

would really appreciate some advice.

Many thanks

(I should add even though my credit file says it defaulted in 2011

I really think it was around 2006)

I have read the thread.

I have gone through the process and sent a letter to the court saying I think the debt should be S/B.

I have received a Notice of proposed allocation to the small claims track.

I have not spoken or replied to any letters since the Halifax owned the debt around 2006.

How can lowell default the debt in 2011 and with them intending to continue the claim..

.is this scare tactics

I'm at my wits end

What was the exact date of your last payment on this? Please be very precise.
