I had problems too.

I missed delivery on Thursday.

it was supposed to get redelivery on Fri. It did not.

They give excuse about loosing keys for van.

When I'd did turn up on Saturday after ringing them and complaining,

my mac pro I'd bought off ebay was all bashed and the support handle on bottom was all caved in and wouldn't stand up, the machine was emaculate apart from this.

I know it was fine before sending it as the seller send me a picture.

There no way this could be damaged so bad unless it was dropped from a height.

The box looked intact but will take another look at some point.

I'd been after one of these for sometime so when I got one eventually I was a bit hacked off with courier.

I'd be pleased to help anyone if they want to take this matter further.

In my own experience I have foundparcelforce to be amongst the worst in the UK.

A trick that they always try to play is the "Can I have your signature here" before you have even caught sight of the parcel. I immediately tell them that I will sign only when I have inspected the package to which I get a rant.

In my own experience the courier is the weakest link in any distance selling transaction, im sure my parcels are great for their football matches they play at the sorting or transit offices. I refuse to use parcelforce anymore and use one of their many competent competitors.

..Rant over!

please don't hit Quote...just type we know what we said earlier..

DCA's view debtors as suckers, marks and mugs

NO DCA has ANY legal powers whatsoever on ANY debt no matter what it's Type

and they

are NOT and can NEVER  be BAILIFFS. even if a debt has been to court..

If everyone stopped blindly paying DCA's Tomorrow, their industry would collapse overnight...

Hi and welcome to CAG.

Two scenarios in my opinion.

1 You bought the MAC and the seller arranged delivery. Your claim is against the seller so inform him what has happened and let him chase ParcelForce as he is the customer, not you.

2 You bought it and you arranged the shipping. You are the customer and as such, you have a claim against Parcelforce.

I suspect the former was the case and as such, you need to contact the seller via Ebay to let him know what has happened and arrange a return and get your money back either from him or from Ebay/Paypal As the seller used a signed for service, ParcelForce can be chased through the courts if needed but that is up to the seller, not you.

If you have paid by any other means, Ebay won't help.

If you are asked to deal with any matter via private message, PLEASE report it.

Everything I say is opinion only. If you are unsure on any comment made, you should see a qualified solicitor
