the anpr camera doesn't show that no

but the system be it at a say police HQ

or in car will then check the details and flag up the details

and any 'errors' yes.

going by the current TV programs

theres no system within an HQ that auto flags to anyone that says..

hey this car has passed XYZ ANPR camera and it has no MOT or

the registered keeper has been revoked to drive the car.

unless say a terminal has been set up to watch for your reg number.

it would be data stored and later found.

but certainly within cars yes it would alert the occupants.

when you were detected by the in car system

if its a 'vehicle of interest', it may show certain extra info eg re pnc, eg re a registered keeper who is a crim (a licence revocation may come under that, depending on the circs)

it will ping it up as being a vehicle of interest and tell whoever is watching the screen why. So, if you drive past a police mobile ANPR they will certainly be warned of this and it will be for them to decide if they want to stop the driver to ascertain their identity and whether they are authorised to drive the vehicle, including correct insurance.

But AFAIK, it isn't illegal for the registered keeper of a vehicle not to be licensed to drive it!

Correct. The RK doesn't need a licence. Only the person driving it does, as well as having insurance. The car also has to have valid tax.
