Tesco seems to be a route for polishing Turds

I met with an ex tesco tosspot brought in to oversee 'sorting out some issues' with structure in a large company

after just 15 mins with the useless prick it was clear he knew absolutely nothing of the issues, let alone the solution that had come out of his ass which actually targeted nothing needed - which I told the company director above him - and I walked away from it.

It was done, left a bigger mess and was covered up. He moved on.

I find the nationalistic flag waving sometimes violent behaviours a bit disturbing.  Has got worse in many countries during the last decade, as politicians have tried to gain support from those with inward looking nationalist tendencies.

Politicians have got to be careful, as they might encourage some people to act in ways which they would not want to see.

If football hooligans cause problems at the world Cup next year in Qatar, the Police and authorities there will not muck around.

What!! Johnson and (dont)Trusst actually giving poor nations a boost at UK taxpayers expense?

.. Don't be silly - Its just a step in trashing rules of origin

UK wants to build on international efforts to give special trade treatment for poorer nations

and allow middlemen to set up import/export companies in poor countries with little policing

Kwasi Claptrap tries to plead ignorance/stupidity .. and rather stupidly confirms he is by failing

... So even more incompetently and stupidly falls back on No-one could know what was expected in the deal we negotiated until after we reneged on it.

 i

Hence failing the point, but confirming hes stupid and ignorant.

#KayBurley - The British Govt want to renegotiate the deal with the EU... why don't we just honour the deal now?

Kwasi Kwarteng - Nobody had any idea of the actual effects of the NI protocol ... the NIP isn't written in stone...

KB - 3 previous PMs warned this would happen

As Dominic Cummings said during the BBC interview, the NI protocol was known not be practical before they agreed it, but it was 'get Brexit done' and argue about it later.

UK obviously believes the EU will concede not having a real border near Ireland and they will just allow admin checks of paperwork after goods have moved.

Will the EU concede or will they insist on the protocol measures as signed up to ?

Time will tell, UB. The EU is rules-based and something like this goes against everything they stand for.

But Johnson signed this international treaty and should have known what it meant. Trying to renegotiate isn't good for the UK's international reputation, as the CNN article says.

Gavin Barwell, ex-chief of staff at No 10, says what ministers are claiming about not knowing the consequences of the oven-ready deal is 'nonsense'.

i know for a fact that there are massive issues with deliveries and that its a mix of ALL of:

* Pingdemic

* Loss of vast numbers of EU drivers making it a drivers market (and they also aren't coming over with EU loads then optimizing their trips with loads across the UK then back to EU - they aren't even coming - in swathes)

* Shortages causing drivers to move to better paid jobs while the going is good

- both HGV drivers I know have changed jobs more than once in the last two months, each time for a lot more money and better terms than they were on.

Re Cummings

You can't believe what he says anymore than Johnson.

It will be a mix of lies, half-truths and tiny bits of truth cobbled together to suite his aims.

- Rather like Johnson - its just Cummings is better at it.

Rubbish.

The NI protocol was entirely practical if the UK had implemented the proper 3rd country labeling, origin documentation processes - as it was a third country and needs it anyway

- OR MORE SIMPLY  ..

simply agree to NOT fall back on standards - as the Brexiters and Tories kept promising AND ASSURING

and the EU would accept that - until the UK reneged as it would - but no that is anathema to them, not because of any sovereignty, but because trashing the food and hygiene standards is what the Brexit leadership always intended.

'doing away with overbearing and out of date standards' as they call it.

The NI protocol was entirely possible and practical in at least 2 ways, one of which is required for trading with our largest and nearest market anyway, and the other was always assured to be the case that standards would not fall.

That the UK populists never intending to honor the agreement, and being prepared to pile lie upon lie is nothing to do with whether it was practical. IT was and is not only practical, but necessary to avoid a trade war and the further trashing of the UK's international reputation.

What worth anyone making a deal with someone who says owt and honors nowt.

Who is more honest ? Johnson or Cummings ?

I think Cummings has an axe to grind, but he has gone on record in Parliament in front of a select committe and would swear under oath, so I tend to believe Cummings.

The evidence against Johnson points to someone who does not understand why honesty is important.

And lack of honesty makes it difficulty for parties to any negotiation.

It's a close thing and I'm sure some of what Cummings says is an attempt to rewrite history, but he has produced texts and WhatsApp conversations to back up some of what he says.

As for the PM, Peter Stefanovic's videos and Peter Oborne's articles have a litany of lies.

The UK wants to rejoin the Lugano convention which it seems to have ignored during Brexit negotiations.

"It's politically uncomfortable for Johnson that the EU is starting to react to what it sees as our bad behavior," says Anand Menon, professor of international politics at King's College London.

"Lots of Brexiteers said from the start of the Brexit process that London taking a hard-line stance wouldn't result in retaliation from Brussels. This is one of the first examples where we are being damaged internationally and the EU holds the keys, and it gives us an idea of how much they think our reputation has changed," he adds.

... The guy who sat in the Rose Garden and bare faced told the world he was testing his eyesight on his 60 mile drive, after crossing the country while infected

- oh and said everyone must stuff the union, honesty and rule of law to get Brexit done as his 'I'm being honest' piece

Phuuuut

So he pulled out some examples of Johnson (sacked twice for lying and with a list of confirmed lies as long as the M1) lying,

and showing Johnson the narcissistic numpty sociopath doesn't give a crap about anyone

... Well shock horror never knew that, who would ever have guessed

BUT Cummings also claims that he was the good guy (LOL) running the show (possible - with Gove)

who tried to do what was right (LOL) despite admitting he might, possibly, have been wrong about the Brexit he drove so hard and lied so consistently and creatively about (+see first sentence)

-

... and you believe him and think 'saying that he would swear under oath or saying owt to the politicians he has stated he loathes and despises (let alone plebs- see first sentence) means the slightest crap to him other than as a tool to manipulate?

Johnson is a confirmed and unapologetic liar, Cummings is a confirmed and unapologetic liar, You are deluded if you think otherwise

I see the link has gone Conniff, however I did manage to click on it before they

deleted it and by Crickey he did have a go at Boris didn’t he.

I see somebody asked the question who would he put in his place

he didn’t answer, which means he had no idea.

Maybe Butler-Thornberry or Abbot.

although he lost his ideal candidate in Corbyn.

So have you two, especially conniff, come to clarify that holocaust denial and holocaust deniers are racist bigoted liars?

or are you still hiding?

Easy to answer yours. not Corbyn or his main supporters, NOT Johnson or any of his main supporters (inc ERG and DUP), NOT farage or any of his few remaining supporters

The EU is turning into an aggressive bully. It is incapable of reforming itself. Remaining in the EU is the high-risk strategy – not leaving it.

  • The EU is a fundamentally protectionist trading bloc
  • The EU seriously misallocates resources
  • The EU is a political project that is fundamentally anti-democratic
  • The ‘purposive’ nature of EU law
  • The folly of introducing the euro
  • The demographic ageing of the EU population
  • The EU has inadvertently encouraged regional separatist movements to develop in a number of member states
  • Increasing Euroscepticism in the EU
  • The EU have been blamed for the tension between Russia and the Ukraine

There is massive corruption in the EU

well illustrated by the fact that the EU’s accounts have not been approved for the last 20 years by the EU’s chief

auditor in respect of around €100bn of expenditures.

The EU’s negotiating behaviour over the Withdrawal Agreement revealed itself to be little better than an aggressive

bully when it did not get its way.

Stopping the UK from participating in Galileo, Europe’s Global Satellite Navigation System, despite our significant

existing investment.

Threatening to stop our aircraft from taking off and blocking Eurostar trains from entering the Channel tunnel.
